Card table

Rummy tournament

A Rummy tournament on First Games starts at a printed time with a printed field. You take a seat before the clock, then tap Take Seat when the event begins. It is not a cash table you join in the middle of someone else’s deal. Get the app from Telegram, open Tournaments or the event list, and read start time, buy-in, and late-reg if any.

What this play is

The rummy inside an event is still 13-card grouping. The wrapper is a field, blinds or chip flights if printed, and elimination or ranking as the event card says. You are not dropping into a random Points rupee table. Tournament chips do not withdraw until the ladder cashes you. A pretty declare on table two can still leave you short of the money ranks if the field is deep and you never accumulated a stack. Read buy-in, start, late-reg, and the payout line before Register. If your lobby has no Tournaments tile, this page is not a cash-table substitute — play Points, Deals or Pool instead.

What the table shows

The event card prints buy-in, start, field size, late registration, and prize split. Table assignments can reshuffle between rounds. If late-reg is closed, you do not join mid-event. Practice cash tables will not move you into this field.

How you win this round

Survive the structure until the prize ranks the card named. That might be last standing, or top chip stacks after a deal flight. Read the event, not a Points instinct of “declare and get paid this hand in rupees.”

How a round starts

Register before the clock. When it hits, Take Seat. Chips or tournament points land as printed. Deal one begins only after the field is seated. Do not wander off; missed first hands are missed.

Legal moves — and one that is not

Legal rummy is the 13-card test. Legal late-reg is only while the event allows it. Legal rebuy, if any, is a button on that flight, not a cash-table rebuy from Pool.

Joining a cash Points table and expecting tournament ranking is wrong. Sitting down after late-reg closed is refused. Declaring invalid still costs tournament chips/points as the event panel prints, which can eliminate you from the flight.

How this round ends

The event ends when the structure says: final table, remaining players paid, or a clock. Individual tables inside the event end a deal and deal again until the tournament moves you or knocks you out.

How the money is counted

Tournament chips are not withdrawable cash until the event cashes you. A double-up on table one is still event chips. Prize rupees post per the payout ladder on the event card, not per a ₹2 point multiply.

If you leave early or miss the tap

Missing Take Seat can blind you out or kick you. Disconnects use the event’s miss rule, often harsher than a casual cash drop. Knockout is out of the event, not just out of one cash deal.

Buttons on this screen

  • Register — Pays the buy-in the event card shows.
  • Take Seat — Required at start. Sitting in the lobby is not seated.
  • Clock — Event start and late-reg close. Not the per-turn timer, which also exists.
  • Flight / level — If printed, this is the tournament wrapper around each 13-card deal.
  • Declare — Still 13-card rummy. It moves event chips, not instant UPI.

How to open it in First Games

  1. Open the Telegram channel t.me/cocorummy and download the APK posted there. Do not use a random file from search.
  2. Install on Android and finish mobile OTP.
  3. Open the tournament or events list, read start time and buy-in, Register, then Take Seat at the clock.

Do not mix this up with a cash table you join anytime

Cash Points/Pool tables start when seats fill, any hour. Tournaments start when the card’s clock says, with a field. You cannot stroll in at deal seven unless late-reg is still open. Cash pays that table’s rupee logic. Tournaments pay an event ladder. Different buttons, different patience.

One round, start to finish

Dev registers a Sunday 8:00 event. At 8:00 he taps Take Seat, gets a 4-player table assignment, and plays 13-card deals for tournament chips. He survives two knockouts at other tables, gets moved, makes the listed payout ranks, and the prize the card named credits the wallet. He did not Join a random ₹2 Points seat at 8:07. Mid-event he almost sat a cash Pool table in another tab; that table would not have moved his tournament stack. He also almost skipped Take Seat because Register had already taken the buy-in — that is how players get blinded out while the APK sits in the lobby. The clock on the event card is the start, not the Register receipt.

Register versus Take Seat

Register buys the ticket. Take Seat puts you in a chair when the event actually starts. If you register and go to tea, you may be blinded out or removed. Set an alarm for the clock. Late-reg, if printed, is a second window, not an excuse to skip Take Seat forever.

How tournament scoring differs from cash

Cash Points multiplies unmatched points by a rupee value this deal. Cash Pool races a cap. Tournaments use event chips or event points and a payout ladder. A huge rummy declare on a tournament table may still be a small chip bump if the field is deep. Play to survive the structure, not to cash one multiply and leave. If the event uses increasing blinds or chip flights, a small stack cannot hunt every discard; you pick spots to declare and otherwise keep unmatched low. The event card’s payout ranks — not a ₹2 point line — is what eventually hits Wallet. Read that ladder before you Register so a min-cash is not a surprise.

Can I join after it started?

Only if late-reg is still open on that event card. Otherwise no.

Are the rummy rules different?

The 13-card test is the same. The wrapper — clock, chips, payout — is different.

Do winnings go to Wallet?

When the event cashes you, yes, as the ladder prints. Not after every inner deal.
