Queen-first Carrom

Queen-first Carrom on First Games pays an extra score if the queen is pocketed first, before ordinary colour clearing, and then tells you on the card whether a cover is still required. This page is that flip. It is not cover-queen, where the queen is worthless until a cover and returns if you fail. The early queen is the unique money event.

What this play is

This play is carrom with a first-queen bonus. First Games still flicks a striker. The unique law is that getting the red coin down before your colour pile is cleared, or before any colour coin as some cards say, writes an extra value on the score line. The job is to take that extra without fouling, then finish the board under whatever cover line remains. It is not cover-queen. It is not hub Carrom with no extra. If the queen falling first does nothing special, you opened the wrong flip.

What the table shows

Ordinary carrom art. The room card prints entry, seats (2 or 4), the extra for queen-first, the definition of first (first coin of the board versus first coin of your side), and whether a cover is still required after that extra is awarded. Those four lines are the table. A 4-seat room still assigns pockets by seat as the hub explained. Doubles, if combined, would put the extra on the pair line. Fee stays on the card. This page will not invent a +50 because a club board used it.

How you win this round

Win the board by the ordinary clear or point target, with the queen-first extra added if you earned it. Earning the extra is not an automatic win. You can take the extra and still lose the clear. You can skip the extra and still win if the card allows a later queen. The app pays the strip, which already includes the extra when it was legal. Do not leave after the queen-first banner as if the board were over.

How a round starts

Pack with the queen in the centre. The break is the unique chance: a first-pocket queen on the break is the cleanest extra. If the break pockets a colour coin first, queen-first for the ‘first coin of the board’ definition is already dead, and only a looser definition (first coin of your side) might still be alive. Read which definition the card used before you smash the pack hoping for red.

Legal moves — and one that is not

Pocketing the queen as the first coin under the printed definition is legal and writes the extra. If cover is still on, you then owe a cover strike as cover-queen would. If cover is off after the extra, the queen stays scored without a follow-up. Continuing to pocket your colour is legal. Taking the extra and then playing ordinary extras is legal.

It is not legal to claim the extra because the queen fell third. First is first. It is not legal to ignore a remaining cover if the card kept cover-on. It is not legal to treat a foul-with-queen as queen-first; fouls usually void the extra. Playing cover-queen fear, and returning her yourself because you did not cover, is wrong if this card already scored her without cover. Read the remaining-cover line. The flips disagree on purpose.

How this round ends

The board ends on the ordinary clear or point target. Queen-first is a scored event during the board, not the finish. If you still owe a cover, the finish cannot happen while she is in holding. If you do not owe a cover, she can sit scored in the hole while you still have colour coins to clear. Last colour coin is then the finish.

How the money is counted

Ordinary coins plus queen value plus the queen-first extra the card prints, minus fouls. Example only: ₹24 sit, two seats, you take the extra, cover if required, clear, strip pays ₹44 after the printed charge. The extra is a line on that strip, not a second wallet product. If you never took queen-first, you simply lack that line. Do not copy another brand’s bonus. First Games prints this room’s extra on the card.

If you leave early or miss the tap

A foul on the queen-first strike usually kills the extra and may return the queen, as printed. Leave Seat after taking the extra still loses the board; the extra does not cash out separately. Clock miss on a remaining cover, if cover is on, is the cover-queen penalty. No rummy drop. The penalty is losing the extra, the board, or both.

Buttons on this screen

  • Place striker — Groove placement. A rushed break that overlaps a mark voids a lucky queen-first.
  • Strike — The flick. A first-coin queen writes the extra banner if the definition matches.
  • Queen-first banner — Shows the extra is on the score line. It is not a finish banner.
  • Cover light — Appears only if this card kept a cover after the extra.
  • Leave Seat — Folds the whole board, extra included. There is no isolated queen cash-out.

How to open it in First Games

  1. Open the Telegram channel t.me/cocorummy and download the APK posted there. Do not use a random file from search.
  2. Install on Android and finish mobile OTP.
  3. Tap the Skill tab, open the Carrom tile, then sit a queen-first room and read the extra queen score on that card.

Do not mix this up with Cover-queen

Cover-queen scores the queen only after a cover and returns her if you fail. Queen-first writes an extra when she is first, then may still ask for a cover. The extra is the split. Do not sit this room expecting a silent queen that only matters after a white. Do not sit cover-queen expecting a first-pocket bonus.

One round, start to finish

2-seat, ₹24, extra if queen is the first coin of the board, cover still required. You place the striker, break, only the queen falls, striker stays. Queen-first banner writes the extra. Holding for cover remains. You pocket a white, cover light, both extra and queen value now count. You later clear whites. Opponent never had a path to queen-first because first coin of the board was already red. Strip pays with both lines. If your break had pocketed a white before the queen, the extra would have been dead under this definition, and you would have been in ordinary cover-queen logic for the rest of the board.

Extra score if queen pockets first

The extra is a printed value added when the queen is the first coin under the card’s definition. First coin of the board means nobody has pocketed anything yet, so a break queen is the usual path and a later queen is too late. First coin of your side means opponent coins may have fallen, but none of yours, and the queen still qualifies for you. First Games will not hide which definition sits on the card. The extra is not a multiplier of the pot. It is a point or rupee line the strip already knows how to add. A foul on that flick typically cancels it. Pocketing the queen second, after one of your whites, misses it. People smash the pack hoping for red-plus-white and accidentally white-first the board, which kills a strict definition. If you wanted that extra, the first object that falls must be the queen, and the striker must not fall with her. Cover-queen has no such extra. That is why this unique line exists.

Do you still cover

Read the card. Queen-first on First Games may keep a cover, meaning the extra can write and the queen can still sit in holding until a colour coin covers her, or it may award both extra and queen value on the fall and skip holding. Those are different rooms that share this flip’s name only at the extra. If cover remains, a failed cover can return the queen and may or may not keep the extra — a second line the card must print. If cover is off, do not send her back by playing cover-queen on purpose. The still-cover question is the mix-up with the sibling page. Cover-queen always covers. Queen-first always extras on first, and covers only when this card says so. Tap as if the banner told you: extra on, holding on or off. If holding is on, the next strike is a cover whether you already got paid the extra or not. If holding is off, aim at remaining colour coins and stop protecting a return that will not happen.

What extra do I get for queen-first?

Whatever value the room card prints, and only if the queen met that card’s definition of first. It is added on the result strip, not as a second product.

Does queen-first win the board by itself?

No. You still have to meet the clear or point target. The extra is a line during the board.

Is this the same as cover-queen?

No. Cover-queen does not pay for an early fall and returns an uncovered queen. Queen-first pays the extra, then may still ask for a cover.

What is the easy mistake on the break?

Pocketing a colour coin before the queen on a ‘first coin of the board’ room, which kills the extra, or fouling the striker in with her.
