Mines vs step crash

Mines versus step crash on First Games is a comparison of two stop-and-risk tiles that are not the same board. Mines hides bombs on a grid you flip. Step crash shows a ladder you walk one tile at a time, and an empty step is the crash. Treating them as the same sitting is how people look for a visible next-step risk on Mines and do not find it. This page only splits the two stop keys. Full loops live on the Mines hub and on step crash.

What this play is

Both are arcade rounds in the same app. Both let you stop after a safe advance. Both can zero a stake in one tap. That is the overlap. Mines asks you to load a mine count into hidden cells. Step crash asks you to request the next ladder tile, which is empty or not, without a mine slider. There is no gem flip on the ladder. There is no forward-along-a-path key on the grid, only cell taps. If your thumb wants one merged game, you will press the wrong stop.

What the table shows

Mines: grid, mine count, cell flips, grid multiplier, grid stop. Step crash: path tiles, forward, step multiplier, ladder stop. Stake steps exist on both cards and are not interchangeable. Aviator is a third layout with a plane; do not drag it in except to remember it is neither of these. If you only see one layout, you opened one tile. Read that card. Do not borrow the other tile's next-step preview.

How you win this round

Mines wins on grid stop after safe flips. Step crash wins on ladder stop after safe lands. There is no combined goal. You cannot stop a mines board with the ladder key. You cannot forward-step a mines cell. Pick a tile, then use that tile's finish.

How a round starts

Mines starts with mine count, then a flip. Step crash starts with a first forward tap on a path. If you set three mines and then look for a ladder, you already mixed them. Name the tile. Touch only its first control. Shared wallet does not start a shared round.

Legal moves — and one that is not

Legal Mines: set count, flip, grid-stop. Legal step crash: forward, ladder-stop. Example of keeping them apart: stop a mines board after two gems, later sit step crash and stop after two safe tiles. Two credits, two keys. That is legal. This vs page does not add a third legal mix.

The bad mix is calling them the same: looking for the next-tile empty chance on Mines as if cells were a path, or hunting a mine-count slider on step crash. You cannot reveal the next mines cell without flipping it. You cannot see step-crash empty before you land unless the ladder card literally previews it. You cannot move a live mines stake onto the ladder.

How this round ends

Mines finishes on grid stop or a mine. Step crash finishes on ladder stop or an empty land. If you cannot say which ending you are aiming at, you have the wrong screen. Close it. Open one tile. Finish that one.

How the money is counted

Each card scores alone: stake times that board's multiplier at its own stop, or zero on mine or empty. Example only: forty rupees stopped on Mines at 1.50 is a grid line; forty rupees stopped on step crash at 1.80 is a ladder line. Do not average them. Do not invent a shared return. Two rows if you played both.

If you leave early or miss the tap

A mines mine and a step-crash empty both take the stake. The penalty for mixing the keys is using a stop that is not on this screen, which means you never locked, then tapping once more. Disconnects settle per tile. There is no dual-board drop fee.

Buttons on this screen

  • Mines stop — Collect on a safe grid. It does not forward a ladder tile.
  • Step-crash stop — Collect on a safe ladder land. It does not open a hidden mines cell.
  • Mines flip — Opens one hidden cell. Next-cell risk stays hidden until you tap it.
  • Step forward — Requests the next path tile. You can see that you are asking for more risk.
  • Mine count — Mines only. Step crash does not load a bomb slider.

How to open it in First Games

  1. Open the Telegram channel t.me/cocorummy and download the APK posted there. Do not use a random file from search.
  2. Install on Android and finish mobile OTP.
  3. Get the APK from t.me/cocorummy then install, finish OTP, then open Mines and step crash as two tiles so you can feel the two stop keys.

Do not mix this up with same as step crash

They are not the same. Step crash is a visible ladder with a forward key. Mines is a hidden grid with a mine count. Stop exists on both, and that shared word is the trap. If you want to see that you are requesting the next risk, sit step crash. If you want hidden cells and a density slider, sit Mines. If you want a plane curve, that is Aviator, still a third tile.

One round, start to finish

Open Mines. Set a low count, flip one cell, stop if safe so you feel grid collect. Leave. Open step crash. Take one forward, stop if safe so you feel ladder collect. You used two stop keys. Notice that Mines never showed you whether the next cell was a mine, while step crash at least showed you that the next risk required a forward tap. That is the comparison. Do not go back and try to load mine count onto the ladder. Do not look for gems on the path.

Can you see the next-step risk

On step crash you can see that a next step exists and that you must ask for it. You usually cannot see whether it is empty until you land, unless the card prints a preview. On Mines you cannot see the next cell's content at all; closed is closed. Mine count only tells you how many bombs are somewhere on the board, not which closed cell is next. If you need visible 'I am about to request more', that is the ladder. If you accept hidden content, that is the grid.

Two different stop keys

Grid stop and ladder stop can share a colour and even the word cash-out. They still close different rounds. Pressing one does not collect the other. Auto-pick on Mines is not the same as holding forward on a ladder. Aviator auto is a third control again. When you sit down, point at the stop that belongs to this board and ignore the memory of the other. Shared wallet, two keys, two result rows.

Can I play Mines as if it were step crash?

No. Mines hides bombs and uses flips. Step crash uses a forward key on a path. Stop does not make them one game.

Do they share a score formula?

No. Each card prints its own multiplier at its own stop. A mine zero and an empty-step zero are both losses, still on different tiles.

Which stop key do I use?

The one on the tile you opened. Grid stop for Mines. Ladder stop for step crash. There is no combined key.

Can I see the next mines cell like a ladder tile?

No. Closed mines cells stay hidden until flipped. Step crash at least shows you are requesting the next path tile.
